📱 SMS Messaging Program

Appointment reminders by text.

Program name: Minoo Brow Bar SMS

What we send: Appointment reminders and confirmations, account notifications (such as verification codes), and occasional promotional or holiday messages.

How to opt in: Provide your phone number when booking online at minoobrowbarkc.com/book and check the consent box, or provide your number in person and give verbal consent during intake. You can also text START or SUBSCRIBE to (913) 361-5965.

Message frequency: Up to 10 messages per month, varies based on your appointments.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for the messages themselves; standard rates from your wireless carrier apply.

How to opt out: Reply STOP at any time. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, or END. You'll receive a single confirmation that you've been unsubscribed.

Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Available on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most other major US carriers.

How we handle your information.

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Minoo Brow Bar ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect. When you book an appointment, sign up for SMS, or contact us we collect:

Name, phone number, and email address
Appointment history (services received, stylist, date, amount paid)
Optional: birthday (used only for birthday discounts and greetings) and Instagram handle
Payment card information (collected and processed directly by Stripe; we never store full card numbers)

How we use it. Solely to:

Schedule, confirm, and remind you of appointments
Process payment for services rendered
Send opt-in promotional and holiday messages (you can unsubscribe at any time)
Maintain a client history for personalized service
Comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection laws

What we never do. We do not sell or rent your personal information, phone number, or email address to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not share SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for the SMS messaging program described above.

Who we share with. Only with service providers required to operate the salon:

Cloudflare — hosts our website and client database
Stripe — processes card payments
Twilio — sends SMS messages (your number is shared only for the purpose of routing the message)
Resend — sends booking confirmation emails
Government authorities if compelled by valid legal process

Data retention. We retain client records for the duration of the client relationship and for up to 7 years after the last appointment for accounting and tax purposes. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@minoobrowbarkc.com, subject to applicable record-keeping laws.

Your rights. You may:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Ask us to correct inaccurate information
Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message
Opt out of marketing emails by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email footer

Children. Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Updates. We may update this policy occasionally. The effective date above reflects the most recent change.
