Terms of Service

1. The basics

By booking a service with Minoo Brow Bar, visiting the studio at 4715 Belleview Avenue, or using our website and apps, you agree to these terms. Minoo Brow Bar is operated by Minoo Khoorsandi as a sole-proprietor beauty studio in Kansas City, Missouri.

2. Bookings and deposits

• All appointments must be booked online, by phone (913-991-3801), or in person.
• A deposit may be required to secure your appointment, depending on service. The deposit is applied to the total at checkout.
• Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable if the appointment is canceled or rescheduled within 36 hours of your scheduled time.
• For late cancellations (less than 4 hours' notice) or no-shows, the full service amount will be charged to the card used during booking.
• If the charge is declined, online booking privileges are suspended until the balance is paid in full.

3. Payment

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, cash, and Vagaro Pay Later (until July 1, 2026 — after that, in-house payment only). A card on file is required for every reservation. Your card is not charged until the service is complete unless you've already paid a deposit.

4. Service results

We use professional pigments, tools, and products and apply our best skill and judgment to every appointment. Results may vary based on skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, and individual healing. Touchups for microblading and permanent makeup may be required and are priced separately.

Brow lamination, lash lift, and tinting results typically last 4–8 weeks. Lash extensions require fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain fullness. Following aftercare instructions provided at your appointment significantly improves results and longevity.

5. Right of refusal

We may refuse service if the client is under the influence, behaves inappropriately toward staff, has a condition that contraindicates the service (active infection, certain medications, recent cosmetic procedures), or is significantly late. We will refund any deposit in good faith if we initiate the refusal.

6. Photos and likeness

We may photograph your service results (typically brows, lashes, makeup — never identifying angles) for our portfolio, Instagram, and website unless you opt out at the appointment. Just let your stylist know — there's no penalty.

7. Minors

Microblading and permanent makeup services are restricted to clients 18 and older. Other services (brow shaping, lash extensions) require a parent or guardian's presence and written consent for clients under 18.

8. Gift cards

Gift cards are non-refundable but transferable. They do not expire under Missouri law. Redeem in person or online during booking.

9. Website and app

Our website and apps (minoobrowbarkc.com, /admin/, /staff/, /app/) are provided "as is" for the convenience of clients and staff. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Your account is yours to manage — keep your password safe. Push notifications are opt-in and can be disabled in your account at any time.

10. SMS / Text message program

Minoo Brow Bar operates an SMS messaging program ("Minoo Brow Bar SMS") for appointment reminders, account notifications (such as verification codes), and occasional promotional messages.

• How to opt in: By providing your phone number when booking online at minoobrowbarkc.com/book and checking the consent box, or by providing your phone number in person and giving verbal consent during intake. You may also text START or SUBSCRIBE to (913) 361-5965 to opt in.
• Message frequency: Up to 10 messages per month, varies based on your appointments.
• Message and data rates: Message and data rates may apply.
• How to opt out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You may also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, CANCEL, or END. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent.
• How to get help: Reply HELP at any time, or contact us at (913) 991-3801 or hello@minoobrowbarkc.com.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Privacy: Your phone number and message history are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to schedule and serve you (name, phone, email, appointment history, and optionally birthday for our records). We don't sell your data, ever. We use Cloudflare to host the site and our internal scheduling database. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

12. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact Minoo directly first at minoobrowbar@gmail.com or (913) 991-3801. We will always try to make it right. Any unresolved disputes are governed by Missouri law and resolved in Jackson County, Missouri.

13. Updates to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
